Las Vegas artist Rhonda Turnbough is known for her whimsical, colorful, and understatedly complex illustrations. She takes inspiration from vintage illustrations, children’s books, Kawaii Japanese graphics, album covers, and everyday life to create her fresh, hand-drawn style. She received her BFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
When not making art, she’s usually playing with her daughter, cutting her hair, listening to the Mountain Goats, digging around at a thrift store and always thinking about food. She lives in Ferrara, Italy with her husband, daughter and cat named Dusty.
